Our camp welcomes children of all abilities and needs. To register your camper with additional support needs, please scroll down to register for the BUDDY PROGRAM rather than the "general registration" to ensure our team is prepared for the ratio and accommodations needed for each camper.
We are looking for volunteers to support our Camp Buddy Program. Volunteers allow us to open a few more buddy camper spots in our camp program, so if you know any responsible candidates who are friendly, attentive, and love working with kids, please send them the volunteer information below! Thanksgiving Camp Buddy Program
🧒🏼❤️ Become a Camp Buddy!
The Buddy Program is our biggest and most impactful volunteer opportunity. Volunteers (age 15+) are matched one-on-one with a camper who needs extra support — often a child with autism, sensory needs, or other developmental differences. Buddies help them enjoy all parts of camp: gymnastics, crafts, obstacle courses, group games, and more.
As a Buddy, you’ll:

Be paired 1:1 with a camper

Help them follow the group and participate

Encourage and play with them

Make a real impact — and have fun doing it!
Requirements:

Age 15+

Commit to one camp week (Mon–Wed, 8:45am-2:15pm)

Attend a Zoom orientation

Be kind, patient, and ready to play
“You might be pushing your buddy on a swing, playing with them in the sensory bin, or help them feel brave during games. Whatever their day looks like, you’re there to help them thrive. I didn’t expect how much I’d learn from the experience — it really changed how I see inclusion and working with kids.
