❤️ Become a Summer Camp Buddy!

The Buddy Program is our biggest and most impactful volunteer opportunity. Volunteers (age 15+) are matched one-on-one with a camper who needs extra support — often a child with autism, sensory needs, or other developmental differences. Buddies help them enjoy all parts of camp: gymnastics, crafts, obstacle courses, group games, and more.

As a Buddy, you’ll:

• Be paired 1:1 with a camper

• Help them follow the group and participate

• Encourage and play with them

• Make a real impact — and have fun doing it!

 

Requirements:

• Age 15+

• Commit to one full week (Mon–Fri, 8:45am-2:15pm)

• Attend a Zoom orientation

• Be kind, patient, and ready to play​

“You might be pushing your buddy on a swing, playing with them in the sensory bin, or help them feel brave during games. Whatever their day looks like, you’re there to help them thrive. I didn’t expect how much I’d learn from the experience — it really changed how I see inclusion and working with kids.
